Inauguration of the new series of meetings "Urban regeneration in the 15-minute city" at Albed showroom in Milan

06/04/2022

Following the success of the first meeting "The 15-minute city: urban regeneration and the role of hospitality" held on 28 October at the Hotel Concorde in Milan, the new cycle of meetings on the scenarios of cities transformed through Urban Regeneration projects, conceived by MC International together with Office Observer and Ghénos Communication, has inaugurated on 6 April 2022 at the Milanese showroom of Albed, a company specializing in the production of doors, walk-in closets and furnishing accessories.

The projects of the cities of the future will be carried out in the name of the new watchwords: "proximity", "community / relationships", "inclusion", "slow mobility", "digital innovation", to define and create a participatory "social infrastructure" that involves not only living spaces, but also those of work, retail, hospitality, health, culture, sport. One of the answers is "The 15-minute city" which plans to have at such a measurable distance from home: services, workspaces, parks, spaces for health, culture, tourism and entertainment, and which it has found in, in recent months, a significant boost, after the pandemic has stimulated more personal and close relationship between people and between people and places.

The meeting, introduced by Marisa Corso, CEO of MC International, and moderated by the architect and journalist Danilo Premoli, saw the interventions of the architects:

Gianandrea Barreca, from the Barreca & La Varra studio in Milan;

Vittorio Grassi, from the Vittorio Grassi Architects studio in Milan;

Massimo Alvisi by Alvisi Kirimoto, Rome.
