“Matter and substance of interior design” at Consentino City Milano
Fourth talk of "Winter Games Hospitality & Development" series of meetings dedicated to hospitality in view of the XXV WINTER OLYMPICS in Italy
Arrived at its fourth appointment, on Thursday 27 January 2022 the cycle of meetings "Winter Games Hospitality & Development" presented the debate on "Matter and substance of interior design" at Cosentino City Milano, a multinational company that produces and distributes innovative surfaces for architecture and design, partners of the evening which was also broadcasted in live streaming for online attendees.
The hospitality project in anticipation of 2026 Winter Olympics is curated and promoted by Marisa Corso, CEO of MC International, enjoys the patronage of Comune di Milano and Comune di Cortina d'Ampezzo, the two future locations of the Olympic Games in Italy, and is created in partnership with the international association NEWH - The Hospitality Industry Network, to which AREL - Associazione Real Estate Ladies has recently been added.
The talk hosted by Cosentino dealt with the theme of interior design and the use of innovative, sustainable, composite materials, which also change the substance of the project: in design activit, in fact, the knowledge of materials and the places where these are used can no longer be ignored.
For the comparison between two design studios, one in the city and one specialized in mountain contexts, this time it has been the turn of Chiara Caberlon, of CaberlonCaroppi studio, and Peter Pichler, of the homonymous architectural studio.
Special guest of the evening, Carolina Suels, interior architect in the field of luxury and fashion at national and international level, specialized in the research of materials.
Moderator of the event: architect Francesco Scullica, Full Professor of Design Department at Polytechnic University of Milan.
